TANG is an Asian luxury restaurant and bar inspired by the Tang dynasty (618–907 CE), a golden age of art, culture, and indulgence. Redbeerd has been their branding partner since inception, across locations in Sandton, Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, and Dubai.

The offering is immersive: contemporary Japanese izakaya meets Hong Kong’s classic Cantonese eateries, with Robata grill, wok cooking, and a bar built for gathering. Redbeerd has supported TANG’s mission of celebrating elegance and exquisite flavour in a number of ways: logo design, comprehensive CI guidelines, visual and verbal language development, website design and development for all locations, and ongoing social media management, from the very first location to every new horizon.

To truly capture TANG’s soul, we studied a dynasty that valued taste in all things. We walked Nelson Mandela Square, the V&A Waterfront, and Dubai’s finest streets, understanding that luxury translates, but authenticity must be local.
