Freeze Tag
Embracing a position of joyful simplicity
Outdoor play is the original game
Freeze Tag was dreamed up by two dads in Lisboa, Portugal, an idea born from frustration with glowing screens and a longing for muddy knees. Redbeerd helped them build a brand worthy of the chase.
The game is elegantly simple: real-world, screen-free, played in parks and forests with nothing but strategy, sprinting, and laughter. Freeze Tag serves families, schools, birthday parties, and any adult who remembers what it felt like to play until the streetlights came on.
Finding the fun again
Redbeerd has supported Freeze Tag’s mission of trading screen time for green time in a number of ways: logo design and full brand identity development.
We’ve run through parks ourselves, tripping over roots and gasping for air, remembering the chaos and joy of unstructured play. And we’ve learned that the best game mechanics don’t need batteries, just imagination, fresh air, and a little friendly competition.
Made for muddy knees and wide grins
Freeze Tag embraces a position of joyful simplicity. Our work together reflects the founders’ vision and grounding core: outdoor play that celebrates movement, protects the magic of childhood adventure, supports real family connection, and allows every kid, no matter their screen habits, to share in the simple wealth of a game played under the Portuguese sun.
