If you live in Johannesburg, you’ve heard of Gemelli. Founder Alessandro Mosupi Khojane grew up in Roma, Italy, and wished to bring his love for people, food and entertaining to South Africa. Redbeerd visualised the elegance and edginess of the brand.

Wholesome, contemporary Italian.

Custom letterforms make up the logotype. They can even be rearranged to reveal a little old Italian man! Considerate typography and illustration combine to complete the visual language, which is at one and the same time classic and contemporary.

Gemelli soon outgrew their workspace and Pantry was designed to accommodate a larger kitchen. One thing led to another and Pantry is now its own unique experience, offering all-day breakfast and private dining in the evenings.
